We started KMKD, LLC in 2020 with a clear purpose: to provide residential construction and remodeling guided by planning, accountability, and care for how homes are lived in. Before forming the company, Michael Alexander worked closely with his own builder while creating a customized home. That experience shaped our approach and sparked a lasting passion for building and remodeling done with intention.

With more than 7 years of experience, we work with residential homeowners who want structure and clarity throughout their project. Our background includes new construction, full home remodeling, and interior updates that require coordination across layout, materials, and construction phases. Each project is approached with defined scopes and documented steps, so expectations are clear from the beginning.

As a locally owned remodeling company, we serve Kansas City, MO, and nearby communities including Lee’s Summit, Independence, Gladstone, Liberty, Weatherby Lake, Waukomis, and Blue Springs. We understand local homes, building requirements, and the importance of communication throughout the process. Whether the work involves building from the ground up or improving existing spaces, we guide each phase with preparation and follow-through.

Every remodel and new construction project includes a one-year warranty. While we do not offer promotional discounts, this warranty reflects our commitment to standing behind the work we complete.
